Vocol Tablet is a combination medicine manufactured by Abiba that is widely used in the treatment of cold, flu, sinus congestion, headache, and related symptoms. It provides relief from other symptoms such as a stuffy nose, a running nose and watery eyes. This tablet must be used as prescribed by the doctor and can be taken with or without food. The quantity of the dose depends on the condition it is being used for. This medicine can show some side effects that are very common and are adapted by the body, but if they persist, it is recommended to consult a doctor. In case of any conditions related to the kidney and liver, your must let your doctor know about it.
Working of the Vocol tablet
Vocol is a combination medicine, and each of its ingredients of works differently to treat a common target
Paracetamol (325 mg): A popular choice for analgesia and antipyresis, helps reduce fever and headache, body pain, and sore throat discomfort.
Phenylephrine (5 mg): A nasal decongestant that works by shrinking swollen blood vessels in the nasal passages to allow for easier breathing and relief of sinus congestion.
Caffeine (30 mg): A mild central nervous system stimulant, it reduces fatigue and enhances the pain-relieving effects of paracetamol.
Diphenhydramine (25 mg): An antihistamine that relieves sneezing, runny nose, watery eyes, and provides mild sedation that encourages sleep during illness.
Indication for the use of the Vocol tablet
Here are some of the conditions in which this tablet is used for
- Common cold and flu.
- Sinus congestion and sinusitis.
- Allergic rhinitis (seasonal or perennial).
- Headache, fever, and body aches are associated with viral infections.
- Sneezing, a runny nose, and watery eyes caused by allergies.
Dosage and administration
The doctors must prescribe the dosage of this medicine for a proper and effective result. Some of the common dosages that is recommended are :
- For adults and children above 12 years, the recommended dose is 1 tablet in every 6 hours.
- Do not exceed 4 tablets in 24 hours
Administration
- Take the tablet with a glass of water
- The most preferred time to take it is after a meal.
